The International Board of Tesori d’Europa represents the international strategic core of the project, embodying a broad, inclusive governance deeply rooted in the European context. It is composed of the members of the International Assembly, a representative body that brings together the members of the Board; the members of the National Council, made up of high-profile professionals who support the Board in defining guidelines and developing strategies; and the representatives of the National Project Teams, selected for the 27 Member States, tasked with translating the project’s vision into concrete actions at the local level.
TESORI D'EUROPA INTERNATIONAL ASSEMBLY
It brings together the Board of Tesori d’Europa, the members of the National Council, and the 27 representatives of the National Teams – identified as the Team Leaders or one of the five members designated by each national team – thus ensuring balanced and highly qualified representation from all European Union countries.
The Assembly is tasked with sharing the project’s main development guidelines, monitoring its overall progress, and fostering constructive dialogue among the different national contexts. At the same time, it serves as an idea lab, where new initiatives are proposed and evaluated, both at country level and across thematic and sectoral areas, actively contributing to the growth and strengthening of the Tesori d’Europa network.
The Assembly is convened once a year and is held, on a rotating basis, in one of the 27 countries of the European Community, thereby reinforcing the direct connection with local territories and enhancing the project’s truly European dimension. In this perspective, it stands as a point of synthesis between central vision and local dynamics, capable of transforming the diversity of European experiences into a shared heritage of value, in full alignment with the spirit of the project.
The National Council of Tesori d’Europa is an advisory and strategic body supporting the Board and the General Management of the project.
TESORI D'EUROPA NATIONAL COUNCIL
It operates as a guiding and supporting structure, contributing to the definition, development, and consolidation of Tesori d’Europa’s activities across its various areas of intervention.
The Council represents a qualified point of reference for strengthening the project’s vision, with particular attention to its cultural, social, economic, and relational dimensions, both at national and international level.
Members of the National Council are selected by the Board of Tesori d’Europa on the basis of the following criteria:
- a high professional profile and recognized expertise in their respective fields;
- alignment with the core values of the Tesori d’Europa project and its European vision;
- a concrete contribution, past or ongoing, to the development of Tesori d’Italia and/or Tesori d’Europa;
- the ability to activate strategic relationships and development opportunities at both national and international level.
The composition of the Council reflects a multisectoral nature, bringing together professionals from diverse fields, including culture, business, institutions, innovation, science, healthcare, communication, and international relations.
The National Project Teams of Tesori d’Europa represent the project’s operational and territorial structure across the 27 European Union countries, serving as the main point of connection between the central vision and local realities.
Each national team is composed of five members, selected for their expertise, motivation, and alignment with the project’s values, and is led by a Team Leader. Their role is to promote and develop Tesori d’Europa’s activities at country level, actively contributing to research, content creation, project dissemination, and the engagement of institutions, businesses, and local communities.
The National Project Teams operate as true strategic outposts on the ground (both in presence and remotely), with the task of proposing initiatives, assessing their economic and organizational feasibility, identifying local referents, and coordinating editorial and operational activities. At the same time, they contribute to building the European network by fostering partnerships and securing sponsors and supporters for the project.
Through their work, the National Project Teams help translate the European dimension into concrete actions, enhancing the cultural, economic, and social specificities of each country while fostering a dynamic system of exchange, growth, and collaboration.
In this perspective, they represent the distributed driving force of Tesori d’Europa, capable of transforming a European project into a living, participatory network deeply rooted in local territories.
