Giuliana D’Antuono: a multifaceted and pioneering figure within the landscape of contemporary strategic consulting.

A Lawyer, Corporate Lawyer, International Business & Marketing Strategist, and seasoned manager, she has built over thirty years of experience an exceptionally transversal professional path that blends the analytical rigor of legal thinking with the dynamic, creative, and at times disruptive vision of international marketing. This multidisciplinary approach enables her to move with equal ease between the complex frameworks of the legal world, the pragmatic challenges of the business sector, and the delicate dynamics of institutional and diplomatic relations.

She obtained her Law degree in 2000 from the University of Roma Tre, further enriched by a key period of specialization in international subjects at Radboud University in Nijmegen, in the Netherlands, and in notarial matters, completing her traineeship with the Council of Rome. Admitted to the Rome Bar Association, she has developed solid expertise in corporate law, consumer protection, financial services, and food safety, actively collaborating with leading consumer associations.

Her career has not followed a linear path. From 1995 to 2012, she managed DIMITEL Srl, the family business specialized in elevator systems, following the sudden illness of her father, a guiding figure both personally and professionally. At the same time, she was actively involved in the entertainment industry. Her work across music, television, and cinema led her to collaborate with internationally renowned artists and to contribute to the strategic direction of high-level audiovisual productions, culminating in the co-production of her first film in Hollywood in 2015.

Her authority has also been recognized in highly significant institutional contexts: in 2009, she became the first woman to serve as Advisor to the Commission for Economic Affairs of the International Apostolic Confederation of the Clergy, where she provided strategic consulting aimed at improving the organization’s legal, financial, and structural framework. Earlier, in 2006, her technical expertise led her to serve as a training tutor for CNA (National Confederation of Crafts and SMEs) on service quality standards (ISO 9001/9002), while from 2007 to 2017 she held the position of Secretary General of the Physeon Association, accredited with major Italian institutions for the promotion of social responsibility projects at both national and international level. She has also held senior roles such as member of the Presidential Council of Unimpresa and National Vice President of the Federation of Innovative MSMEs and of the International Service Export Consortium.

She has led complex export and commercial development operations across multiple European and non-EU markets, including the United States, the Balkans, Canada, China, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, India, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Vietnam, coordinating legal, logistics, marketing, and institutional diplomacy aspects. In this context, she has contributed to the foundation and development of Italian and international companies, particularly in China, London, and New York. Building on her specialization in SME internationalization, she has held leadership roles in the implementation of multi-year public–private funded projects, collaborating with companies across various sectors, regions, national bodies, and trade associations such as Chambers of Commerce, Confartigianato, Confapi, Confindustria, Coldiretti, Fiera di Roma, Legacoop, ICE, and others.

Asia today represents her deepest and most consolidated area of expertise, both institutionally and commercially. Her journey in China reached a turning point in 2010 through her collaboration with the Italian Pavilion at Expo Shanghai, which enabled her to establish direct relations with the Chinese Central Government and several municipalities, including Beijing and Tianjin. In 2017, she co-founded the Italy China Link Association (ICLA), an organization active in “people-to-people” diplomacy and co-founding member of BRLC (Belt & Road Local Cooperation), part of the strategic framework of the New Silk Road.

At the same time, a central pillar of her activity is her strong connection with Japan, initiated in 2016 and strengthened through her collaboration with WJNetwork, which connected her with Tesori d’Italia (TDI), where she became Institutional Relations Officer in 2019.

Her academic experience further completes her profile: since 2018 she has been registered in the teaching roster of the Higher Technical Institute (ITS) for Made in Italy Agri-food, particularly recognized for her ability to combine theory and practice in marketing, management, and strategic planning for internationalization.

Following a significant experience within the Executive Team of the Department of Sport, Tourism, Fashion, and Major Events of Roma Capitale, Giuliana chose to fully leverage the transversal nature of her expertise, developing international cooperation projects capable of accelerating complex processes and generating tangible cultural and economic growth.

Giuliana’s vision is never sectorial, but systemic. It does not aim at the growth of a single entity, but at the development of a networked system capable of multiplying tangible results. This is exemplified by her recent role as project leader of the international initiative World Life Strategies (WLS), which gave rise to a traveling roadshow inaugurated in 2023 at the Chamber of Deputies’ Parliamentary Groups Hall. The initiative aims to foster cooperation between public and private sectors, profit and non-profit, tradition and innovation, integrating medical-scientific, socio-cultural, and environmental themes to generate comprehensive economic and social well-being.

This initiative, promoted with AEREC (European Academy for Economic and Cultural Relations), of which Giuliana is a member of the National Board with responsibility for International Affairs, has become a global case of excellence. Giuliana managed the public call application and AEREC’s participation as Official “in kind” Sponsor of the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, coordinating the entire process with the Commissioner appointed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The WLS project has been recognized as a best practice for its ability to aggregate and enhance outstanding expertise in health, research, and innovation, bringing to the global stage of Expo an integrated model of well-being that combines scientific knowledge with a humanistic vision.

Within Europe’s Treasures, Giuliana D’Antuono brings this comprehensive vision: a perfect synthesis of legal expertise, entrepreneurial passion, and cultural diplomacy. “I am honored to serve as Strategic Advisor for International Promotion and Development of Europe’s Treasures,” she states, “and to collaborate with a team of professionals who have consistently demonstrated competence, reliability, and results. Europe’s Treasures is a project that looks to the future with the awareness that only by working as a network can we truly succeed. A winning team is not changed: it expands toward new horizons.”
